Nicholas Roseth specializes in beginning and middle level band, and previously taught instrumental music in Colorado, including concert band, jazz band, orchestra, guitar, piano, and STOMP. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, he served as Instructional Mentor for new teachers in his school district. Nicholas has received teaching awards from the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association Society for Music Teacher Education and the Education Foundation for the St. Vrain Valley.
Presently, Nicholas is a Ph.D. candidate in music education at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. He most recently served as Student Teacher Supervisor for undergraduate music education students completing student teaching. He previously served as the Associate Instructor for Methods and Materials for Teaching Instrumental Music and as the Program Coordinator for Young Winds, a pre-college program providing musical instruction to local middle school band students. He holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Susquehanna University and a Master of Music Education from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
